Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer is also an accomplished actress. As an intelligent and attractive actress, Lucy Liu serves as a role model for several Asian actors who are in Hollywood who want to succeed. Following a string of early appearances on popular TV shows, she achieved fame after joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in popularity, the actress was offered roles on major screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her performance was outstanding in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. While she was in the film her role as an actress in the flops of the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield results. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime drama - helped establish her as a leading actress. Liu picks her roles wisely so that she doesn't become a typecast character in such a competitive field. Although she is adamant about her heritage however, this has not hindered her in her professional work in the field of art.
