Liz Vassey started her career acting when she was just nine years old. She has appeared in more than fifty plays and musicals. At the age of 16, Liz moved from the south of England to New York to become part of All My Children. It was because of her character on this show that she was awarded the debut Daytime Emmy nod. She is most likely best known for her run of five years as DNA tech Wendy Simms of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Liz has also been featured in a number of films, pilots and television series. Liz, in addition her acting profession, is also a talented writer. While she was on her final season of CSI She was the co-writer of an episode and since then the show has been sold to six TV pilots and one movie which are currently being developed for NBC Freeform Universal Netflix and The CW among other networks as well as studios. Liz who is a long-distance marathon athlete, has made her directorial debut in The Human Race. The film focuses on the older runners. Liz Emmerichs lives in Hollywood as do David Emmerich's. Swallow was born in Jacksonville Florida. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia where she was a major in Middle Eastern studies. Swallow then moved into New York City, where she graduated with a Master's in acting in the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. Swallow is an experienced actor on film and television, having played a variety of roles, including one as a sleuth on Ringer and also the role of a detective's wife on Southland. Additionally, this she has also played a bank-robber and bounty hunter for CBS in The Odds. For the rest of her professional career Swallow also played the mermaid in the Shana Sosin-directed independent film The Rift.
