Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton and is being the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child and watching her mom working. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna moved from Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. She came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. They married with a civil ceremony on December and renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April 2011, after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's relationship with a sex partner, together with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the top television Couples. E! named the pair "the top television Couple" in 2013.
