Ky-mani , who is close to completing his third album untitled, certainly is a superstar. Ky-mani Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on the 26th of February 1976 in Falmouth. Ky-mani refers to an East African term meaning adventurous journeyer. And as the man who lives according to his title every album, or trip has been an adventure. The Journey was his first music venture. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles that was looking for his own musical niche. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae record was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani has earned a reputation for his unique blend between hip-hop and R&B along with some modern jazz.
